Helium Mobile offers nationwide coverage, through a community-built network, using a system called Dynamic Coverage. This allows customers to become network owners and operators of a region through the deployment of Helium Mobile Hotspots, which are essentially just mini-cell towers.
Users who contribute to the network this way, are rewarded with a cryptocurrency called MOBILE tokens, which can be sold off, held, or traded as desired.
These are all rewards?
Since this video fit the vibe of a fast and technologically advanced world, I devised an art style composed of a tech background and a hologram-esque phone screen. In order to direct attention towards all the rewards history in the app, it was vital to do a slow scroll down of the rewards feed.
Discovery Mapping is a mechanic through which users share their location data, and help let Helium know which areas need additional community-built coverage. Turning this on results in a higher rewards yield.
So how much was it?
To highlight how much rewards were mined, I proceeded to head to CoinGecko to take the current price of the tokens and placed it behind some plexus to fit the tech vibe.
Visual clutter is a sure-fire way to confuse your audience, so I edited the footage to look like a fake camera zoom (complete with blurring!) had been done so that the one point that drives home the whole video is not lost in the void. And then adding a highlight on top of it was just chef’s kiss.
Of course, we need to be truthful to our audience, both present and future, so adding the date next to the cryptocurrency value was essential.

To effectively convey the costs and profits involved, I chose to write the relevant math on screen so that the viewer can keep up with it with ease.
